Placements
A place in the press, on a schedule.
Not a pitch you hope lands. A set number of placements every quarter that we are responsible for placing, through our own titles, our partner magazines, and our network. Features, interviews, and appearances, on pages, on air, and on stages, each one tracked from brief to the published link.
The writing
An 800 word editorial feature
Written by our team from your interview, in the publication's voice, and sent to you for approval before it runs.
The imagery
Your photo or cover art
Placed with the piece, credited the way you ask, at the resolution the title needs.
The proof
A live link on the title's own site
A third party page with your name on it, which is the part a bio, a bank, or a booker can check.
The reuse
The piece, filed in your kit
Added to your press page automatically, so the next reporter finds it without asking.
Week 1
Intake and assessment
Octave interviews you in writing. We read it and tell you what is placeable now.
Week 2
Interview and outreach
Your angle is set, the interview is done, and we open conversations, including local press.
Week 3
The title is secured
We confirm the outlet with you and align the angle with what they publish.
Week 4
Approved and prepared
You read the feature, you approve it, and it is queued for publication.
Titles our team has placed talent in or worked with across their careers, including campaigns for Peabody, Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony winners. This is history, shown to tell you who you are working with. It is not where your feature is promised to run.
Our own and partner magazines, each with its own readership and editorial focus. Your written features run here, matched to the title that fits your track.
Every placement has a stage, a title, and a receipt. Nothing is reported to you in a slide at the end of the month, because you are looking at the same record we are.
Your quarter, at a glance
3 of 3 usedQ3 2026 · Growth plan · resets Oct 1
One pip per placement, coloured by where it is. Unused placements do not roll over, so the quarter is a real deadline for us, not a soft target.

And the part agencies keep
Your media list is yours, and it leaves with you.
Contacts, pitches, replies, coverage, and every receipt export as CSV whenever you ask, including after you cancel. Most of the industry treats the relationship list as leverage. It is your list.
